Alright, I'm back after a long break. But how can I be inside blogging when it's been such a lovely summer. I'm so sad it's over but I can't go on without documenting our great times these last few months. We had some busy days and some lazy days, some LONG road trips and some day trips, but most importantly, I got to spend lots of time with my sweet kiddos. It was grand.
We did TWO roadtrips west - one to Montana to see Hubble's family and one to Utah to spend time with my family at a fantastic family camp called Aspen Grove. I drove 3 out of the 4 legs on my own, but the kids did great and we listened to the first 4 books of Harry Potter in the car and that made the trip go by quickly. When we were in Montana, I fell in the Yellowstone River with my camera and it was fried so I didn't get many pics. But I'll dig up what I can and post very soon about our trips.
The last two weeks of summer, we did stuff around here (like school shopping, the Jelly Belly factory, the aquarium), but I have to say one of my favorite days was when we stayed in pajamas all day and listened to the fifth Harry Potter book (yes, we are practically living in Hogwarts around here these days) while the kids played with legos and I played with my new food processor. Love those lazy days. I was not looking forward to going back to crazy scheduled days, but here we are. And we'll be fine...
